Sports clubs benefit after success of Community Games

Sports clubs on the Isle of Man have experienced an 'upsurge' in new members after a sporting initiative targeted at students.

The Community Games took place earlier this year - the event was aimed at secondary school pupils who didn't belong to a school, club or Island team:

The now renamed 'Microgaming Community Games' will take place on June 21st next year - more than 10 sports will feature.

Sport development officer Gianni Epifani says it's important to engage with the 11-18 year olds:
