A Douglas man who was caught speeding in a 30mph zone has been hit in the pocket.
21-year-old Oliver Dunne, of Mount Rule, was clocked travelling at 49mph on May 31st.
Police were carrying out speed detection work on Douglas Road in Ballasalla at the time.
At Douglas Courthouse this week Dunne admitted the offence via Coroner’s Admission.
Magistrates fined him £190 and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £50 - his driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points.
