A Peel man who was clocked breaking the speed limit has been fined £170.
Police caught Steven Fozard travelling at 47mph in a 30mph zone on March 9th.
The 34-year-old, from Castle Street, was stopped on Peel Road in St Johns just before 6pm.
At Douglas Courthouse earlier this week he admitted the offence via Coroner's Admission - telling the court "Sorry for wasting everyone's time in this case".
Magistrates endorsed his licence with four penalty points and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £50.
