A special service is being held this afternoon for parents who've lost a child through stillbirth or a miscarriage.
The annual Still Treasured, Always Remembered (STAR) service is organised by midwives at Noble's Hospital and is aimed at supporting those who've experienced such a loss at any point in their lives.
Poems, readings and the lighting of candles to remember loved ones will be part of the event which will be led by hospital chaplain Reverand Philip Frear.
It takes place at St Thomas' Church on Finch Road in Douglas from 2pm.
