The Spar in Anagh Coar's applying for permission to expand its premises.
The planning application from the Douglas convenience store is for extensions on both sides to improve the building's appearance and layout.
A total of 110 square meters would be added, allowing for more storage space in the back and a bigger offering of stock.
There would also be a larger entrance with double doors, to include a flower display.
