The Southern Swimming Pool is now re-open following safety concerns.
The Board says their journey has involved overcoming significant challenges, including structural concerns with pool hall lights and insufficient lighting levels.
They've now installed temporary safety supports and enhanced the lighting, ensuring the pool is a 'safe and welcoming space for all.'
It's added that further comprehensive assessments for long-term sustainability and safety are planned.
Swimming lessons will resume as normal from next week.
