The Southern Swimming Pool hopes to re-open its doors soon into the new year.
It comes following investigations after safety concerns with the Pool Hall lighting, which forced the facility to close.
It's now confirmed that they can safely operate the pool with some minor works, which are hoped to be completed soon.
The Board says they understand the value of the facility to the community and are eager to welcome people back.
