Southern 100 organisers have announced sidecars won't be included in the 2026 races.
The Southern 100 club says the difficult decision's been made following a comprehensive review, after the machines were suspended from this year's TT.
Officials spent the past week trying to see if changes to regulations could be brought in to make sidecars safe for the Billown Course.
However, the club says there are currently too many aerodynamic and technical questions surrounding the class, which can't be resolved in the five weeks before the July event.
