Some surgeries planned at Noble's Hospital are being cancelled as staff are being taken up in the Intensive Care Unit.
The hospital have released a statement saying they are currently experiencing an abnormally high volume of patients requiring intensive care.
Some planned surgery has been cancelled to ensure that staff and facilities are available for intensive care patients.
The situation is being monitored. Individual patients who will be effected will be contacted.
