Some cough and cold medicines removed from local pharmacies

Some cough and cold medicines have been removed from local pharmacies across the Island.

Manx Care says the decision has been made based on advice from the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

It concerns items containing pholcodine - due to a very rare chance some people could experience an allergic reaction.

The UK made the same move last week.
