The Island's reputation as a prime dark skies site will be celebrated with dedicated events taking place this weekend.
The Isle of Man Astronomical Society is hosting Stargazing Live sessions on Friday, January 11, Saturday January 12 and Sunday, January 13.
It's encouraging all budding astronomers, stargazers, planetary explorers and telescope enthusiasts to come along to Onchan Park from 7.00pm.
The event is open to all and is free of charge.
