Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw has said the recent Housing Conference allowed his Department to clear up a number of misunderstandings about the current Housing Review.
The review report, carried out by the David Tolson Partnership has polarised opinion among the local housing authorities, with some greatly opposing plans to consolidate the authorities into just four regional bodies.
The conference enabled interaction between the authorities and the DSC, with their input set to shape the final proposal Minister Robertshaw takes before Tynwald in Autumn.
The conference focused on the National Housing Need survey, affordable housing opportunities and older persons housing.
