The Mountain Road is closed this morning because snow is causing treacherous conditions.
Police say the route will be shut from Barrule Park in Ramsey to the Creg ny Baa until at least 10am.
The Creg-ny-Baa Back Road was also closed earlier, but the Department of Infrastructure says it is passable with care - in the West of hte Island the police say the Sloc Road is also passable with care.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning across the Island with more than two inches of sleet or snow expected over higher ground until the early hours of Thursday morning.
The A36 Sloc Road is described as ‘passable with care’ at this time.#DriveSafeIOM
