Snow Causing Havoc on Roads This Morning
Tthe Island’s Roads are treacherous this morning, with snow and thick ice causing problems.
The Gritters are out, as it stands the Mountain Road is still open but motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, the same goes for the coast road.
In the Douglas area Richmond Hill is said to be tricky although the Gritters are currently dealing with it.
On the buses there are problems in the North of the Island with the Maughold, Ramsey Town and Jurby, Andreas and Bride services all being cancelled until the roads have been gritted, the same goes for the Foxdale service.
Motorists are warned to take care when on the roads and allow extra time in your journeys.
It’s thought the Wintry weather will become gradually more isolated dying out as the day goes on.
