Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
The warning is in place until 2pm on Thursday, March 1.
Forecasters are warning temperatures will drop to freezing, with strong east winds battering the Island, and possible snow flurries forming.
Douglas Borough Council also says bin collections may be disrupted because of adverse weather conditions.
