The Snaefell GP Surgery in Anagh Coar will remain open, it's been confirmed.
Government says the update comes following overwhelming support from patients of the practice - currently there are around 5,400 patients on its books.
Practice Manager, Robin Hynes, says they feel assured at present they have adequate funding to continue to provide the services their patients deserve.
It comes following a recent period of uncertainty for the location after GP partners at the surgery announced in February they were planning to hand back their contract.
