Initial discussions over the future of the Snaefell Surgery in Anagh Coar have gone well.
That's according to Douglas South MHK's, Claire Christian and Paul Quine, who were given an update by the DHSC with talks expected to resume next Monday (March 1).
GP partners at the practice announced last week they intend to hand back their contract and cease operating the facility in August - since then Health Minister, David Ashford MHK, has stated the surgery will remain open even if this means under new management.
Meanwhile, Mrs Christian and Mr Quine are thanking residents for their letters of support for the practice team, adding the support is 'resounding evidence' the surgery should remain with its current management and staff.
