Department of Community, Culture and Leisure spend £230,000 on revamping the Summit Restaurant
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure are commemorating the opening of the new Snaefell Summit Restaurant with a Victorian Extravaganza planned for the first weekend of July.
The restaurant is a £230,000 investment from the Department, with work teams half way through a £3 million track replacement scheme on the five mile long Snaefell Railway.
The investment in the building has seen a new roof put on, new windows and doors, re-decoration, new toilets and a new commercial kitchen.
The festivities will kick off on Saturday 2nd July, where ‘Queen Victoria’ and her ‘Private Secretary’ will perform the official re-opening.
