A Café on the Mountain says it's closed today because of snow - but hopes to reopen in time for a sporting event at the weekend.
The Victory Café at the Bungalow, run by Ben Quirk and Vicky Cottier, says the heavy snow means it's had to shut today.
But on Saturday Manx Fell Runners will hold their Snaefell and the Tholtans Race which sees athletes tackle a round around and over the summit of the mountain.
In a post on Facebook featuring today's view from the eatery, the café says it's hoping the snow will have cleared enough for it to reopen and allow the event to go ahead as planned.
