Manx Utilities says it'll carry out work on sewers owned by developer Dandara to tackle Peel's putrid pong.
The organisation says it's after complaints about the smell around Reayrt Ny Keylley.
It'll clean out private treatment works and jetwash the local sewer network in the near future.
But it's warning while the work takes place, the stench might get worse before it gets better.
