The Department of Infrastructure says the number of passengers using its newest bus service dipped by seven per cent over winter.
A Freedom of Information request asked for passenger figures for the 8S service between Peel and The Sound since it launched last august.
The DOI says 14,094 people got on during the tourist season, while 10,756 used it between November and February.
Of the 24,850 journeys, 20,295 held Go Cards or paid reduced fares.
