Skeet on the Beat Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary
3FM and the Douglas Police Force have celebrated the one year anniversary of the popular on-air feature Skeet on the Beat.
Since its been on the air it’s given the Police the platform to appeal directly to the public for any useful information they may have linked to crimes that have been committed that week.
Sergeant Ged Power and Constable Mark Dimsdale have shared the duties of spokesperson from the Policing side of things.
Sergeant Power said ‘It has been an excellent platform to tell the public about Crimestoppers and we can remind the public of the number 0800 555 111 regularly. I am grateful to the 3FM team for all their help and especially to the listeners who have responded well to our broadcasts.
