Police have praised the bravery of a six year old boy who called police after his mum accidentally locked herself in the bathroom.
Officers say the incident happened in the south of the Island this morning.
The boy dialled 999 after his mother became trapped, and looked after his baby brother until police could arrive to help.
Police took to Twitter, describing the youngster as "calm and brave".
