Six people will contest an upcoming by-election in Malew.
The local authority is on the lookout for three new commissioners following the resignations of Barbara Brereton, John Brereton and Bob Pilling resigned from their posts in July.
The candidates include director, Nigel Bazley; retail manager, Timothy Chamberlain and IOM Green Party Member Leo Cussons along with IT professional Kurt Hoosen; director Kevin Oliphant-Smith and homemaker Tanya Mackrell.
The by-election to decide which of the candidates will take up the roles will take place in the parish on September 12.
