The Island's chief constable says there's been more than one assault on his officers each day for almost a week.
Police head Gary Roberts took to Twitter to point out six officers have been assaulted in just the past five days.
Two men are due to appear at Douglas courthouse today facing charges from two separate incidents.
In total, four officers were hurt.
