Manx Telecom says its broadband network users could face "disruption" for up to six hours tonight.
On its website, it says engineers will be carrying out essential maintenance.
As a result, people may notice their internet connection drop out.
The work is due to start at 11pm and end by 5am on Thursday, November 13.
It says after the maintenance is finished, you may need to reboot your router.
