A major befriending scheme which was launched on the Isle of Man is set to be rolled out across the UK next month.
The Silver Line was piloted on the Island to serve as an advice helpline for the older population.
After also proving a success in Manchester the helpline will be launched nationwide on the 25th of November following a £5 million grant from the BIG Lottery Fund.
However chair and founder of the Silver Line Esther Rantzen says she thinks the message here could still be improved:
Family's appeal to bring brain-injured dad home
Island animal charity appeals for help after relentless bad weather
Further appeal for witnesses following incident in Ramsey
Speed restrictions planned for the coast road next week
Hundreds paid by cheque after MiCard scheme scrapped
No drone zone on Tynwald Day
