An MLC wants to know more about the removal, storage and final silt in Peel Marina.
Tim Crookall will ask Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer if he'll make a statement on the issue.
It comes following approval of government plans to remove 44,000 tones of silt from Peel Marina last month.
The sitting will take place in Douglas on Tuesday at 10.30am.
