Police have recovered hundreds of thousands of pounds of drugs which were destined for local circulation.
It follows a week long operation which concluded this morning.
Officers from the pro-active team detained two women at a hotel on Douglas Promenade.
Following a search of their vehicle approximately £108,000 worth of cannabis resin was seized.
£62,000 worth of what is believed to be cocaine was also recovered.
The two women aged 24 and 27 from Liverpool are currently at Police Headquarters helping with enquiries.
