Investigations have started to find out what caused a house fire in Laxey yesterday.
Firefighters were called to South Cape at 2.50pm where they found a 'well established' fire on the ground floor.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says they 'worked hard in difficult conditions' to extinguish the blaze.
Significant fire damage was caused to the ground floor and the rest of the property was also affected by smoke damage - no one was injured.
