£20,000 Donated By UK Cadet Association
Plans to build a new cadet centre on the Isle of Man have received a boost from the Cadet Association in the UK.
They’ve pledged £20,000 towards the project, which will act as a training facility for the Island’s thriving cadet scene.
It’s replacing the existing building, which after a number of years of service has reached the end of its useful life.
The Department of Home Affairs is currently progressing plans for the building, which will be based in Tromode.
There are currently more than 220 cadets on the Island active in the four cadet organisations.
