Staff not allowed in store this morning
B&Q Isle of Man is still closed off while police investigate a burglary.
Officers were alerted to the store in the Spring Valley industrial estate this morning.
CID Detective Sergeant Brian Shimmin told 3FM that management at the premises informed the emergency services that there was a burglary overnight. (audio above)
A significant amount of cash which was stored on the premises was stolen.
Police are currently carrying out forensic tests and making enquiries.
The store is expected to re-open at around midday. (Thursday)
