Numbers up 6.7% on 2010\'s total
The Steam Packet has confirmed another rise in figures of those travelling to the Island for TT 2011.
The figures have been published as the last of the TT visitors head home.
The Steam Packet said the total number of passenger’s stands at 33,172, an increase of 6.7% on 2010.
With three vessels operating routes each day the company had the capacity to carry 4,000 passengers each day.
The Ben-my-Chree will be going into dry dock next weekend to have repairs to a damaged bow thruster.
It will be dry docked from the 18th to the 20th June.
Anyone booked on a Ben-my-Chree sailing during this weekend have been contacted about the changes.
