Laxey's historic flour mill has applied for planning permission for a new sign.
Laxey Glen Mills on Mill Road has applied for permission to put up a new banner 24 feet long by almost four feet high.
The sign, showing off its opening hours, would be on the front of the building.
The proposals also need registered building consent.
