Should Horse Trams run on Douglas Prom in 2020?
Onchan MHK Rob Callister doesn't think so - he believes the horse trams should be halted for a year, in order to help businesses and hotels on the prom remain accessible.
It comes following ongoing £30 million plans to revamp the prom affecting numerous businesses.
In July this year a Tynwald committee heard businesses along the promenade had seen a downturn in trade since the scheme began, and felt communication from central government had been lacking.
Mr Callister believes the horse trams have bcome more of a distraction, whereas the focus should be on getting the work done as quickly as possible.
