Should all residents on the Island chip in to support all swimming pools no matter where they are?
When Tynwald sits later this month, Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will ask members to back an all-Island rate to fund regional pool and the National Sports Centre.
He wants the Treasury to report to Tynwald by March next year with a timetable to introduce the rate.
At present, people pay local rates towards the pool in their own area.
