The select Committee of Tynwald will hear evidence this coming week on the TV Licence Fee.
There has been dispute over weather Manx residents should be paying it.
Manx residents pay £142.50, the same as those in the UK, but there is no BBC radio station or daily TV airtime.
On Friday, evidence will be taken from Head of External Policy Wilf White and David Holdsworth who's the Controller of English Regions at the BBC.
It is a public hearing so anybody can attend.
