The short-term future of the Southern Swimming Pool has been secured, alongside pools in the north and west.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has confirmed it will underwrite the costs of the pools in Castletown, Peel and Ramsey for a limited period of 12 months.
There will also be a review by an external body looking at how they're run and the challenges they face.
All pool boards will have the chance to participate and contribute to the review, which will provide recommendations for the future.
