Shoppers at an Onchan store have helped contribute towards an important Island cause.
The Spar store at Governors Hill has raised £1,500 for Beach Buddies through its idea to put some of the money raised from the sales of 5p bags towards a key local organisation.
Beach Buddies founder, Bill Dale is thanking customers for their support, adding the funds will benefit the work the group does.
Mr Dale was presented with the cheque by store owner, Ernie Russell, who's described the charity as a 'really worthy cause'.
