A second national nature reserve has been declared in honour of the King's visit.
Cronk y Bing Ayres is a stretch of sand dunes on the Andreas coast managed by the Manx Wildlife Trust.
The charity says it's home to 120 bird species, including 36 listed as being of conservation concern.
New byelaws to further protect the 17-acre site are expected to be introduced later this year.
