Attending the 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Canada was a valuable opportunity to 'maxamise the impact' of the Isle of Man.
That's according to the Speaker of the House of Keys, Juan Watterson, who went to the event in Nova Scotia in August.
Mr Watterson says he took the opportunity to compare notes on housing and cost of living issues with colleagues from Jersey and Guernsey.
He also strengthened relationships with Westminster parliamentarians and those from the wider British Isles and Mediterranean regions.
