A sheep in the West of the Island had a lucky escape last night, after coastguards rescued it.
Members of the public dialled 999 after spotting the animal stuck at the base of a cliff at the back of Peel hill.
A team of coastguards climbed down and rescued the sheep - it was then released away from the cliff edge.
Coastguard officers are reminding people not to try to rescue animals themselves.
