Government figures show the number of complaints related to GP services have risen by 56%.
The figures are contained in a new report which also shows that a total of 380 complaints were received across all services - 15% less than the previous year.
Health and Social Care Complaints 2020/21 will go before Tynwald next month.
However, the 14-page report states the figure must be seen in the context of the pandemic and that fewer patients have been using services.
The DHSC says the complaints came during an ‘exceptional period’ in the history of the healthcare system due to the impact the pandemic had on access to services.
59% of total complaints were related to the Hospital Directorate, with 23% of these being about delays or cancellations of appointments.
