Manx Utilities has applied for planning permission for a wastewater network in Garff.
It's submitted proposals to build a sewage treatment works, five sewage pumping stations and interconnecting pipelines in the area.
The organisation says the plans include demolishing three holiday chalets.
If approved, the works could cover from Axnfell Plantation on Ballacollister Road down to Cairn Road near Laxey Harbour.
