A planning appeal hearing into planned sewage treatment works on Glenfaba Road in Peel has heard arguments about smell.
Manx Utilities and David Jones have been putting evidence to Inspector Jennifer Vyes - Mr Jones claimed odour would impact his site more than the MUA said.
However, MU advocate James Burton says the site would only be ‘slightly’ impacted.
Mr Jones also put forward arguments over land slippage, as well as a potential loss of employment if the site became a sewage works.
Closing statements from both sides are being made today.
