Seven-year-old on mission for clean beaches

A seven year old is on a mission to clean up the Isle of Man after receiving the perfect Christmas present.

Eleanor Cain, from Crosby, asked for a litterpicker and hi-viz vest as her main gifts from Father Christmas - and just a few days later she took her family for a clean-up on Peel beach.

She then joined Beach Buddies for their first event of the year at Ballaugh earlier this month.

It comes following Beach Buddies visiting Marown school which inspired Eleanor to ask for a litterpicker for Christmas!
