Seven petitions presented to Tynwald on the Island's National Day have been thrown out by a committee.
The Standing Orders committee considered 22 petitions for redress of grievance handed in by members of the public on Tynwald Day.
It says a 23rd petition was exactly the same as another from the same person, and so both have been treated as one.
Of the 22, six have been ruled out of order, while another has been deemed lapsed.
