A memorial to mark the 40th anniversary of the Summerland disaster will be unveiled next month.
Douglas Council has organised a special service at 7.45pm on Friday, August 2nd at the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen’s Promenade in Douglas.
The Mayor of Douglas Carol Malarkey will preside over the proceedings and the service will be led by the Archdeacon of Mann.
A spectator area will be set up and the Summer Hill slip road will be closed to traffic. Parking will also be suspended.
