Series of Mountain Road closures for filming start today

Today sees the first of a series of Mountain Road closures for filming of the Channing Tatum TT movie, which'll continue over the weekend and into next week.

The route is currently shut from the top of Johnny Watterson's Lane junction to the Bungalow, though both junctions remain open.

Then from 11am, The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will be shut in its entirety.

From 2pm the road will re-open from The Bungalow to Hillberry Road, though the northern section will remain closed to Ramsey - all restrictions are due to be lifted by 10pm.
