September twice as wet as usual

The Ronaldsway Met Office says temperatures were back closer to average in September, after the warmest summer on record.

It was a very wet month, with almost double the 30 year average of rainfall being measured.

The first day of the month was the warmest, with a peak of 19.3° Celsius.

Levels of sunshine were also right on the average.
